ANNUAL FUND APPEAL
The LFN would like to thank everyone who contributed to our latest Annual Fund Appeal.
Your support is enabling us to continue to enhance the programs and services of our Needham Free Public Library.
The Library Foundation of Needham was established by the Trustees of the Needham Free Public Library to provide an unrestricted endowment to fund services and programs not in the town budget. In our first decade we have raised our first $1,000,000.00. Your contributions will help us towards our goal of continuing to provide for the needs of our community library. To make an online donation by credit card click the donate now button or to send in a check download the LFN Donation Form.
The town of Needham’s budget for the Needham Free Public Library covers only library salaries and operating costs. Town money does not pay for most programs, some databases, and other valuable resources. These items are privately funded – that’s where you and the Library Foundation of Needham come in.
The Library Foundation of Needham was established in 2004 to pay for programming and additional resources at the library. Since its inception, the LFN has funded hundreds of programs for adults and children, purchased CDs and DVDs for the library, obtained a stage for the Community Room, acquired book mailing bags to mail books to home-bound patrons and helped to upgrade the Wi-Fi and community room audiovisual systems.
Please support the LFN today. We rely on you to make the Needham Free Public Library the best it can be!
